Interesting Book July 26, 2010 Sherry I have not finished reading it yet. So far I have enjoyed learning about MSG and other additives and the anatomy of the brain. I am amazed at all that goes on in the brain. It is another world.
Exciting June 28, 2010 M.E This book is amazing. Easy to understand, and it gets right to the point. The detailed drawings help to understand in a visual sense. Would definitely read more from this Dr/author.
Exciteotoxins: The Taste That Kills June 25, 2010 researcher (WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI, US) This is a book packed with information on MSG and its effects on health. I found the book helpful and quite easy to understand. The author has excellent credentials.
As always, I was very satisfied with buying through Amazon.

Could be the most important book about food ever March 19, 2010 Gene Jus (desert city USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This guy is not afraid to take on the food industry, the FDA, or the medical establishment. Read his wikipedia page to see what they think of him. Read his chapter Bias in Science for a major education in how those guys operate.
Lots of people, including some I know very well, get instantly sick from small amounts of MSG. Until I read this book I didn't realize that anyone with a damaged blood brain barrier (which in among the elderly is probably virtually everyone, while among the young it is probably only the cell phone users) will overstimulate and probably damage their brain cells if they eat MSG or hydrolyzed vegetable protein or casein or any other form of the "natural" flavoring.
Why don't we all know this? Why is MSG allowed in food? Read the book. The preface seems a bit sensationalist... but read the rest and weep.
