| Customer Reviews: Gives Excellent Background of Nursing September 10, 2008 Antinomian (Washington, DC) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
My wife has been considering a career change, and has considered medicine. As nursing is a respected career, and nurses are in high demand I got this for her. I read the entire book in one sitting. It is not that complicated, and the price is a bit high for the information given, but it does give essential info on nursing, including the different types of degrees available and how they would be obtained. There may be other books out there with greater amounts of info, but if you're just starting to seriously consider nursing, this book or one similar is essential.
